I visited Di Stefano by chance one day when looking for an iced coffee. The cafe owner had told me that they had recently just opened again after a stint of being closed and were still doing work on the place. I next came across it a month or two later and lo and behold they had transformed the cafe into a great little place for coffee or a bite to eat. They have a great deli counter with some absolutely fantastic sandwiches, which you can have toasted, that are by far the best you can find in the local area. The owner told me they made fermented focaccia that took 3 days to make, and inside are some of the freshest and tastiest ingredients. I have tried the vegetarian and the salami and both are wonderful. The coffee is also good. The owner is charming and kind and happy to have a chat. They have a few tables outside of the sun is on your side, otherwise there are many tables inside. I couldn’t recommend this lovely little cafe more, it’s a must, and I can’t wait to return.
A true Italian experience. From the smiling "ciao" as you enter, through fantastically aromatic coffee, to a selection of some of the best pastries you'll find in UK, there's nothing not to love.
This is my go-to cafe whenever I'm in the area! I love the coffee, and today was my first time trying the pastry—it was absolutely amazing.
As someone raised in Melbourne, I know great coffee - and this place nailed it. Smooth espresso, perfect flat white, and staff who know what they’re doing. Highly recommend.
Excellent cappuccino and croissant. If you are curious, ask the owner about coffee making process or about food. He takes great pride of his products and will be happy to talk about them. Nice mezzanine room that fits large groups.
Absolutely recommend! I'm Italian and that's definitely a wonderful place to find some great Italian food, drinks and atmosphere. Everything is made with lovely ingredients and love. You'll have one of the best espresso in town too! Very friendly staff and great value for money. Don't hesitate guys, just go and enjoy it!
As someone who is recently getting into coffee and dabbling with an espresso machine at home, learning the trade as I go along, the experience I just had in this place was just on another level. This is the Real Italian coffee, by a real Italian master. Anytime I pass this place when I visit London I will definitely prioritise Di Stefano. Amazing, amazing espresso and coffee all around
What a true little gem! Food was very tasty and very affordable. Massive kudos to the owner who made us feel very welcome.
